Behind gather. we’re a duo of James Phillipson {UK}, Alexis Mostrios {Greece} and our global network of growers, producers and hauliers.
Founded in 2001 in Athens, Greece as Hellenic Olive Products, we launched gather. in early 2025. As our name suggests: gather // ɡaðə/. ‘we bring together and take in from scattered places and sources.‘

OUR STORY:
Our story starts at the end of the Millennium, we were living in Greece and eating the very best that the Mediterranean diet has to offer. The idea to share these delights with folks back home blossomed and we got to work!
In 2001 we founded Hellenic Olives and we haven’t looked back. Since then our network has grown and so has our desire to source delicious foods from Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, India and beyond. In 2007 Alexis Mostrios joined as a Partner and is very much our man on the ground in Greece.

With almost 25 years experience we’ve forged close links with producers, logistics providers and customers to create efficient and seamless supply routes into The UK, USA, and beyond.
With offices in Athens, Greece and Kent, England we continue to forge new connections using our experience and creativity.
